What are “concept designs”?
A concept design is a sketch that represents one idea of how your logo will look. If you receive five different concept designs, you are receiving five different sketches with five different logo ideas to choose from. Concept designs are usually presented one at a time so that feedback from one can be applied to the next.
What are “revision requests”?
A revision is a change that is made to a concept that is small enough that it doesn’t require a whole new concept to be drawn. This can be as simple as changing a color or as elaborate as replacing a figure with a whole new one. A revision request is any time that you ask for these changes. You can ask for one change or thirty, but as long as you ask for them at the same time they only count as one request.
What are “logo variations”?
Sometimes different versions of the same logo will need to be created to be useful in many different mediums. For example, an intricately detailed logo that looks beautiful on a business card, may not be easily readable on a sign while driving by at 50 miles an hour. In this case, a more simplified version of your logo may need to be created for this particular use.
